Curriculum
Our classroom structure focuses on center based themes. Themes are weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending on the age of the student, level of interest and preference of the teacher.
Values of Faith
Christian holidays are celebrated and incorporated into the curriculum. Some secular holidays are celebrated as well. HCP appreciates the culture and diversity of God’s world and encourages students to acknowledge and respect the differences in themselves and others. Language, materials and activities in the classroom are void of stereotypes.

Christian values and principles are practiced at HCP. This is reflected in the warm, nurturing and respectful ways in which the HCP Staff responds to the students and families. The students learn about God’s love during chapel time weekly when the class makes a short visit to the church sanctuary for a Bible story, activity and/or songs. The Pastors and HCLC Staff become familiar with the students during the school year. The students learn prayers during chapel as well as snack time prayers. Throughout the school year HCP reaches out to the community through various projects chosen to help those in need.
